Biography

Edwin Wilson a.k.a. "Future," is a powerful force in the Spoken Word movement. He picked up a pen and began a new "Future." In his fourth year of writing and performing, Future is the 2004 Redemption Poetry Slam Champion. Future performed with Saul Williams at Wright State University and has been a performer on the nationwide television show called Spoken, which has been airing since November of 2004 on the Black Family Channel. He performed alongside Malcolm Jamal Warner. Future has also shared the stage with performers such as Mighty Sparrow, Lady Calypso, Taalam Acey, Jessica Care Moore-Poole, Sonia Sanchez, Omar Tyree, Sonya Renee, Will "Da Real One" Bell.
